Dr. P C Jagadeesh is a Consultant – Orthopaedic Surgeon & Sports Medicine with special interests in Arthroscopy and replacements. He is highly experienced in performing simple to complex Ligament Reconstruction in Knee, Rotator Cuff and other problems in the Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle and Hip.

Qualifications

• He has finished his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore in August 1996.
• D’ORTHO from Sri Devarajaurs medical college , Kolar In Sept 2001.
• DNB from MIOT Hospitals, Chennai in Feb 2007.

Experience

• He is a certified Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeon in knee and hip.
• He has performed over 8000 Knee Surgeries which includes Arthroscopy and Joint replacements and above 3000 Shoulder surgeries and shoulder replacements.
• He has worked as a Head of the department and Chief Arthroscopic surgeon, in MIOT Hospitals Chennai for 10 years.
• Presently working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon , Head, Sports orthopaedics and arthroscopy , Fortis hospitals Bangalore.

• Hands on knee and shoulder surgery in Chulalenkorn university Bangkok, Thailand in March 2009.
• Advanced Fellow ship training in the knee and shoulder arthroscopy in the Centre for orthopaedics and sports medicine , Johannesburg South Africa in the month of march 2010. Under Dr.Mark Ferguson

He has published many Scientific papers in International Indexed Journals and has conducted many conferences in Bangalore and has attended many national and international conferences as faculty/speaker . He is the President elect of Karnataka arthroscopy society and is an active member of ISAKOS – International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Being the first to perform Arthroscopic Meniscal Replacement in India for foreign national using CMI implant ( German ) on March 2015 in Fortis Bangalore. Summing upto 4 meniscal replacement till date.
